Chart notes
RED SUMMERBIRD set a well handled pace then drew off in upper stretch and was kept to task in late stretch to hold sway. STAR SAILOR was settled then rallied three wide on the turn, was four wide in the stretch and was making up ground but was second best. INVARIABLY chased the early pace wile inside into the turn, made a bid in upper stretch but came up empty in late stretch. TAKE FLIGHT chased the early pace while two wide into the turn, made a bid on the turn but failed in late stretch. DUDE PERFECTA raced three wide on the backstretch and failed to menace. SILVER AND GOLD was unhurried early then was no threat. RACE DAY REBAL was through after a half then gave way.
