Chart notes
ROTKNEE coaxed from the gate, crossed to the two path to duel with TODAY'S FLAVOR to his inside, raced two to three wide through the turn and began to shake away near the quarter pole, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in growing a bit weary late and held safe to the finish. NY TRAFFIC chased five wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, closed well to secure the place honors. THIN WHITE DUKE chased four wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. WIN FOR GOLD tossed his head to the right side as the latch was sprung and hit the off side stall before lunging out of the gate well behind the field conceding eight to nine lengths to the front, chased four then three wide detached at the tail of the field, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, went eight wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying with good courage and was herded slightly out by NY TRAFFIC, offered up a mild kick to be along for the last major share. OCEAN'S RESERVE broke out at the start taking over the lane left vacant by the aforementioned foe, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung three wide for home, offered up a bid but was outfinished. AMUNDSON three then two wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch, tired. TODAY'S FLAVOR coaxed from the gate, dueled inside of ROTKNEE from soon after the start, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, got shaken off and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, then tired in the drive.
