MOGOLLON RIM tracked the solid early pace from the inside, saved all of the ground through the backstretch run, improved position into the far turn, came in a bit tight at the quarter marker and angled three wide into the stretch, continued his advance at the furlong pole, closed willingly in deep stretch, caught DAZZLE THE COMMAND inside of the sixteenth-marker, surged past the runner-up in the final strides and held in a drive for the win. DAZZLE THE COMMAND tracked the solid early pace from the second flight, maintained a two wide path through the backstretch run, improved position on the far turn and loomed three wide at the top of the stretch, gained command and drew to a clear lead at the furlong marker, was all out to hold off rivals in the final sixteenth, met the bid of MOGOLLON RIM in deep stretch and was bested in the final strides, while holding safely at the finish for second. RIVERSIDE was allowed to settle in the early stages, saved ground into the backstretch run, was coaxed along two wide into the far turn, swung four wide into the stretch and improved position at the furlong marker, was gaining in deep stretch and was well clear in the end for third. FAST SERVICE was prominent into the first turn and stalked the solid early pace from the inside, kept attendance to the quick pace through the backstretch run, chased from the inside along the far turn, was outrun into the stretch and passed tiring rivals in the final furlong. VINNIEBOB was forwardly placed into the first turn while outside of runners, tracked the solid early pace four wide through the backstretch run, lost position three wide into the far turn, chased four wide into the stretch and weakened in the drive. DEFENSOR FORTIS was hustled leaving the gate, crossed over and cleared the field into the first turn, set solid fractions through the backstretch run while off of the rail, came three wide into the far turn and carved out the pace to the quarter marker, was collared by DAZZLE THE COMMAND into upper stretch, chased that rival to the furlong marker and faded in the final stages. BOOMING BERNARDO was forwardly placed in the early stages, stalked the solid fractions while well placed through the backstretch run, improved position two wide heading to the quarter marker, chased three wide into the stretch, lost position approaching the furlong grounds and tired. JAFFA broke a bit slowly away from the start, lacked early speed, chased from well behind through the backstretch run, was eased through the stretch and walked off under his own power.
