Chart notes
MII AMO prompted the pace three wide, earned a narrow lead in midstretch then held on gamely against outside challenger for Pennington's 3,000th career victory.. SHUDABEENACOWGIRL settled off the pace, angled wide into the stretch, loomed a threat but could not get by the winner. SWANS ISLAND set a pressured pace in the two path then weakened slightly in the final furlong. GO CHLOE GO lacked speed then narrowed the gap without menacing. WHISKEYSTREETBLUES saved ground well behind the leaders and offered some late energy. SOPHIA'S ROSE forced the pace along the inside then proved empty in the stretch. CALLIE RAE ran off in the chute prior to the start and weakened steadily during the running. GONE trailed far behind, returned lame and was vanned off afterward.
