Chart notes
MESABI pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, drove clear and won under steady urging. CHIEF KIMOSABI lacked early speed, made a steady gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. R T'S D'ORO had a tight start, racing from the rear, made a steady gain and got up for third. TREASURE COAST raced within striking distance, was close throughout and weakened down the home stretch. ADMIRAL AFLEET void of early speed, improved position, but was no factor. OUT MAKING TREBLE lacked early speed, came around the final turn wide and was never a threat. LITTLE STAR TARGET raced within contention and faded. RED CENTS went to the front, drove clear and dropped back. MAKE YOUR DESTINY raced in the middle of the pack and retreated. NOBLE CONNECTION raced near the back and showed little.
