Chart notes
WESLEY THOMAS chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the turn and dueled in the lane to pull clear near the wire. MINNY SPEIGHTSTER led the way up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the bend and in the lane, couldn't go with the winner late and chased that rival home. CASTLECOVE SPIRIT chased the pace setter between horses through the opening quarter of a mile, saved ground around the turn and finished evenly. FAST LEARNER stalked the pace setter on the outside early, navigated the turn from the two path and was outkicked in the lane. AWESOME FRIEND tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, dropped back while saving ground around the turn and continued to tire from there.
