Chart notes
ROYAL MAHOGANY came out across the path of Bali's Shade on the chute then closed to the lead approaching the seven sixteenths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the quarter, rounded the turn at the rail, dug in under steady stretch handling and just lasted. AMENDE CHARLIE chased inside through the backstretch, rounded the turn at the rail, dug in through the stretch and was gaining steadily on the winner. LION OF THE SEA was bumped, jostled then pinched back on the chute and settled into stride, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the turn, eased out approaching the head of the lane and finished strong while gaining on the top two. BALI'S SHADE exchanged contact with Lion Of The Sea then pinched back on the chute, picked up the chase leaving the chute and raced near the rail on the turn, had aim mid-stretch but flattened late yards. THE ILLUSIONIST pressured the pace and raced close off the rail on the turn, but flattened stride inside the eighth pole. MYGIDGETMARIE gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and showed little in the lane. PURE NONSENSE exchanged contact with. DAN THE MAN CAN leaving the gate then gave chase through the backstretch, but faded off the rail on the turn. The latter broke through prior the start, exchanged contact with Pure Nonsense leaving the gate and never factored.
