Chart notes
PREDOMINATE was settled along the inside, blocked by the three sixteenths to the furlong marker, angled out for racing room and made a bid to edged clear late, driving. RUNYONESQUE stalked the pace and made a two wide bid on the turn to duel for command, then continued to duel by the furlong marker and had a long drive won that battle but could not hold off the winner late, second best. STORMING CHROME set the pace on the inside, then was headed and dueled for the lead on the inside by the quarter pole, gave way grudgingly in the furlong grounds and held on to the show award. SKIMBLE SHANKS tracked the pace on the inside, made a three wide bid off the turn to loom boldly but hung late. ROAN FOR THE ROSE chased the pace three wide and tired.
