Chart notes
FINAL BOSS pressed the pace from outside, lost touch with the leader into the turn, chased two wide around the bend and drew closer entering the lane, took over in upper stretch, cleared at the eighth pole and lasted over the runner-up. ISLAND CRUISER broke a step slow, reserved in the early going, went two wide into the turn, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, rallied from outside and just missed. AINT NO JOKE chased from inside out of range, lost ground around the bend, remained inside to the stretch, rallied along the fence and got up for the show. RASTAMAN VIBE broke in, raced towards the rear early, went three wide into the turn, got bumped out to the four path near the five-sixteenths pole, finished willingly through the lane and got edged for third. SKETCHY traveled along the inside near the back into the turn, coaxed around the bend while tipping two wide, lacked room in traffic in upper stretch, tipped out midstretch and could not rally. WENDELSSOHN got bumped from outside leaving the gate, went up to set the pace under pressure, cleared exiting the backstretch, saved ground on the inside through the bend, tested again by FINAL BOSS and gave up command in upper stretch, then weakened in the furlong grounds. LET SEAMUS GO traveled in mid-pack outside a rival into the turn, chased two wide then moved over to the rail around the bend, steered out in the lane, lacked room entering the final sixteenth and could not regain momentum after gaining a clear path. STICK SHIFT broke in and bumped, sat off the pace early on, moved out on the turn and bumped rival at the five-sixteenths pole, got put in tight in upper stretch and weakened.
