YES HE CAN was prominent leaving the break, raced close up to the moderate early pace and advanced three wide on the turn, confronted MR. CLUTCH in upper stretch and battled with that rival to the furlong grounds, shook free inside of the furlong marker, drew off under mild late urging and was ridden out to the finish to be much the best. AWESOME DUDE tracked the moderate early pace while two wide and between runners, maintained that position into the turn and chased two wide to the quarter marker, was not able to impact the winner in the final furlong, ran on in deep stretch and was up in the final strides to secure second. MR. CLUTCH assumed command in the early going, set moderate fractions while pressured into the turn, showed the way along the bend while pressed to the quarter marker, was confronted by YES HE CAN in upper stretch and fought with that rival to the furlong grounds, could not keep pace with the winner into the final sixteenth, weakened in deep stretch and was just edged for second at the wire, while holding safely for third. OUR EXPECTATION tracked from the outside in the early going, gained ground four wide on the turn, maintained that four wide path into the stretch and lost position at the furlong marker, lacked a response in deep stretch and passed tiring rivals in the final stages. ZIPPY BABY tracked the moderate early pace from the inside, chased along the turn while inside of rivals, ran evenly into the stretch and could not muster a late rally. LITTLE CASINO was prominent away from the start and vied for the early lead, pressed the moderate pace two wide and between runners heading into the turn, kept pressure on MR. CLUTCH while pressing the pace to the quarter marker, lost position into the stretch and gave way in the final furlong. DAD BOD tracked the moderate early pace while between runners and three wide, maintained that position into the turn, dropped back approaching the quarter marker and tired in the stretch.
