BIG HAMBONE gave close chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn off the rail, dug in leaving the eighth pole and got up the final strides. STEVETHEVANDRIVER took the lead nearing the half mile pole and rated the pace, was pressured at the rail on the turn, dug in under steady stretch handling but was caught in the final strides. MONTAUK DADDY chased through the backstretch, raced in the six path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. PRINCE OF FENTON chased inside, raced at the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the stretch. PROTA chased through the backstretch, raced close in the four path on the turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. SO COURAGEOUS gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and showed little in the lane. BIG DADDY D R gave chase and rounded the turn about the six path. HEY CONGRATS stumbled leaving the gate then gave chase outside and rounded the turn in the seven path.
