Chart notes
KILIMANJARA stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn and then drew away in the final furlong to prove best, driving. NEWSDLEY set the early pace on the inside and was headed by the quarter pole, could not go with the winner in the final furlong, held place award. ME DARLIN KATHLEEN was well placed early on the inside, eased out and made a four wide bid off the turn but flattened out, missed place award. JACK'S LILLY was reserved early, came six wide into the lane and had a late rally to best the rest. SEVEN YEARS LATER was off slowly, saved ground and had no rally. MOONSAFE chased the pace and was two wide on the turn and was empty in the drive.
