Chart notes
GROSSE TETE IAN raced in the middle of the pack, came around the final turn on the outside, took the lead entering the home stretch, drove clear and won under urging. IRON N STEEL raced within striking distance, came around the first turn on the outside, made a late bid and was a clear second. MIDNIGHT CROWN lacked early speed, entered the final stretch four wide, angled in, split rivals and got up for third. JUST BECAUSE raced near the back in the early part, showed late interest and was outfinished for show. LAKESIDE RUMBLE raced within contention and weakened. WINDTAPPER WIN went to the front, drove clear and faded. ROYAL DE BE broke through the gates before the start, raced near the back and was never a threat. INDEFENSIBLE TOWN always raced near the back and showed little. CAMALEON pressed the pace and made a steady retreat. POP POP MIKE raced in the middle of the field, dropped back and was outrun.
