Chart notes
SUPER QUALITY took a quick lead and angled to the rail to rate the pace, was hand urged nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then steadily handled in the lane. HAPPY CHARLIE settled off the rail on the opening turn, started a bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced in the three path on the far turn, closed for second mid-stretch and finished evenly. NEWS BOX rated close inside, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole and raced off the rail on the far turn then flattened nearing mid-stretch. ROCKY DICE stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase approaching the seven sixteenths pole and flattened stride on the far turn. SLIPPIN JIMMY became edgy in the gate and steadied between horses early, rounded the first turn off the rail, angled to the outside entering the backstretch and showed little response. HAPPY CHAMP raced in the three path the first turn, left the turn toward the outside then saved ground on the far turn.
