Chart notes
BERNING HONOR went around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside, moved closer with a half-mile to run, made a bid in the three path on the far turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and held under strong urging. PINSTRIPEPIZZO broke near the back of the field, went four then three wide on the first turn, settled at the rear, traveled three wide on the far turn, was roused seven wide into upper stretch and finished with good energy but was too late while up for the place. ARISAEMA broke at the rear, saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, went two then three wide on the far turn, swung six wide into the stretch and finished well for the show. MY ROYAL VOW moved in early, settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn, chased the winner in the stretch and finished willingly. BOMB SQUAD settled in the two to three path, was put to a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. JANNIE MAE saved ground on the first turn, moved out on the backstretch, advanced to make a four wide bid on the far turn, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and weakened. STONE OF DESTINY went three wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, rounded the far turn in the four path, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed kick. SPERSS was bumped hard at the start and forced into another foe, saved ground on the first turn, settled near the back, moved from the rail to the two path on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch then moved further out and failed to rally. PUREST PERFORMANCE broke out and bumped hard with a rival, disputed the pace on the inside of a foe while inside to the two path, jostled with an opponent leaving the backstretch, was urged on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. MISS BARB was bumped hard at the start then taken up, went three to four wide on the turns, came eight wide into upper stretch and was no factor. DRAMATIC EFFECT contested the pace on the outside in the two to three path, jostled with an opponent leaving the backstretch, was urged on the far turn and stopped.
