Chart notes
SMOOTH MOTION set the pace on the inside, showed the way into the stretch, responded when roused at the furlong marker and pulled away under urging. MORETHANAFEELING stalked close up two wide, chased the winner on the far turn, rallied outside, made a bid at the eighth pole, was no match for the winner, then dug in to save the place spot. DANCE A DINI broke out bumping a rival at the start, raced off the pace with an inside trip, advanced inside on the far turn and rallied mildly on the rail. BLAZING RED raced four wide early, settled off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and finished evenly in the lane. TRAFFIC MASTER tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a mild bid and was outfinished. BATTUTA D'ORO was bumped at the start, raced two wide off the pace and gave way. VICTORS VALIANT raced three wide early, stalked outside and faded.
