Chart notes
MISS INTENSITY gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the four path on the turn, left the turn outside and dug in under steady encouragement to take over the final strides. YES TO LOVE gave chase and raced close in the three path on the turn, was outfinished in the duel through the stretch but got up for second the final strides. THETA contested the pace at mostly even terms and took the nod into the lane, dug in to draw briefly clear past the sixteenth pole but was outfinished in the final strides. SOMESUGARNSPICE gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. ANOTHER FINE JUBA contested the pace at mostly even terms and had the edge at the rail into the turn, but flattened leaving the eighth pole. WAY OF APPEAL gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn off the rail and showed little in the lane. LEONESSA hesitated and came away a bit rank and never factored.
