Chart notes
THIRSTY ACCOUNTANT veered out across the path of the late breaking Bellafleet then set a pressured pace inside, widened at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled to hold on. CONTINGENCY pressured the pace through the backstretch, dropped back approaching the quarter pole, rounded the turn off the rail but came back to close the gap in late stretch. CAUSETOWIN gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and came along to take third mid-stretch. MIDCENTURY MODERN became a bit edgy in the gate then ducked in at the break, gave close early chase, raced at the rail on the turn, eased outward entering the stretch and flattened stride. P B FOXY was bumped leaving the gate then gave chase, angled out into the turn, left the turn outside and ran evenly in the lane. NOBLE OBSESSION became edgy in the gate, was forced inward and into P B Foxy at the start then gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and flattened in the lane. BELLAFLEET hesitated at the break then saved ground. SOPHIE'S CANDY gave chase outside and rounded the turn about the six path.
