Chart notes
MARQUET CLASSIC took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the quarter, raced at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled to hold on well. PUSH was shuffled back at the break and settled in the four path the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and dug in to take second the final strides. CHASING ARTEMIS rated close in the three path, gave chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and dug in under steady stretch handling, but was nipped from second the final strides. HONEYCAMP rated close off the rail the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn off the rail, eased out leaving the turn and finished evenly outside. HERECOMES SCARLETT stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but flattened at the rail on the far turn. CHANNEL SCENT saved ground on the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the six path on the far turn and showed little in the lane. DIAL FOR LOVE ducked out leaving the gate then raced in the three path the opening turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the five path and flattened stride. CRIMSON LILLE raced well back in the three path the first turn, moved to the outside into the backstretch and saved some ground on the far turn. HOLY HIP rated close inside on the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole then faded from the three eighths.
