Chart notes
DR. DOYLE , three deep on the turn, secured command approaching the stretch and steadily pulled away while kept to his business. SHOOT THEMESSENGER , lightly steadied when shuffled back approaching the five eighths pole, was three wide around the turn, remained off the rail through the stretch and rallied inside rivals. FREE SQUARE showed speed along the inner rail, weakened in upper stretch and drifted out near the eighth pole. ROYAL SPY lacked speed, swung four deep leaving the turn and lacked the necessary response. PEPE AND HEYWOOD showed speed between horses and weakened.
