BIRDIE BE GONE vied for the lead while three wide on the turn, was in a long drive and drew away in late stretch was best in the end. MARIAH'S CANDY was settled then rallied on the turn and swung out to be five wide in upper stretch, was gaining ground to be second best. DIXIE PENNY rallied four wide on the turn to upper stretch, made a bid to mid stretch but flattened out in the end.
