Chart notes
CREATIVE BEAT drifted inward at the start, trailed into the stretch, closed rapidly two wide then along the rail under left handed urging and got up in the final strides. FINISTERE raced along the inside down the backstretch and through the turn, altered course six wide entering the stretch, rallied to make the lead late and just missed hanging on. SHORTLY pressed the pace along the rail through the turn, shifted three wide as the leader drifted out bumping MOTOWN COLLECTION repeatedly then was outfinished. MOTOWN COLLECTION vied for the lead three wide into the stretch, was bumped repeatedly then finished evenly. C C'S CLEAR CREEK well placed, failed to respond. QUICK QUICK WHIT bumped at the start and was no factor. DARK BARON away alertly, set the pace into the stretch, drifted out to the five path at the top of the lane and weakened late. LOUIS bumped at the start had speed into the turn then faded. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
