Chart notes
NICO chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn near the rail, angled to the five path approaching the head of the land, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and drew away later yards. JEFFERSON NATIVE set a pressured pace through the backstretch and contested the edge off the rail on the turn, relented the lead mid-stretch but held on for second. PENGUIN POWER chased through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn, was carried out toward the head of the lane but finished evenly to take third later yards. LITTLE ROO ROO chased outside, raced in the five path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. GOLDEN KEY pressured the pace through the backstretch, contested at a close disadvantage nearest the rail on the turn then weakened toward mid-stretch. AMIDSHIPS gave chase then faded through the turn.
