Chart notes
DEVIN ON EARTH closed to the lead nearing the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, raced at the rail on the turn and held on under steady stretch handling. DAPHNE'S FIRE engaged in close chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn off the rail and finished well at the outside girth of the winner. TOUGH ENOUGH chased through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn and dueled for third. GREAT DEVOTION gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. STORMY CUT gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail then flattened in the lane. CURLIN'S DOVE chased through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn and showed little in the lane. FIDDLERSHOTPLEASUR was no factor racing outside. MIDNIGHT PASS gave chase and rounded the turn about the four path. MASHUA was never a factor.
