Chart notes
MOSAICO MAN stalked the pacesetter while in the three path into the lane, straightened in the four path, stepped in twice under right-handed urging, straightened late, was urged right-handed very late, bumped and put rival in tight with rail near the wire and just lasting. BLACK WHITE N GOLD set the pace on a clear lead through the turn, was put under pressure into the lane , brushed near the eighth pole when rival came over, continued on near even terms late when put in tight near the rail and checked near the wire. GAMBLERS TAIL chased the pace while in the two path through the turn, came into the lane from the four path and rallied while drifting in late and just came up short. UNION RUN was brushed at the start, raced in the back into the far turn, bid three wide in late turn and never was a serious factor. COOPERSTOWN raced two or three wide throughout and lacked a closing response. CATALINA MOON raced along the inside down the backstretch and was done entering the far turn. AFTER A STEWARD'S INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION #1 MOSAICO MAN WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST (1ST) AND PLACED SECCOND (2ND) FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH.
