Chart notes
COMPUTATION set the pace racing in hand while slightly removed from the rail and drew off to win as much the best. FRANZ saved ground stalking the pace, rallied into the stretch but was unable to threaten the winner while clearly second best. DENS DEVILLE saved ground while being allowed to settle, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. SKYFLYER was unhurried while saving ground, slipped through entering the stretch and improved his position. SEARCHIN SAFARI was reserved off the early pace, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. BOLD EXCAPER prompted the early pace while racing two-wide and tired.
