Chart notes
MALIBU RAIN bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, recovered to duel on the rail up the backstretch and around the turn, and dug in gamely in the lane to hold the lead to the wire. CABERNAYDO raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the early going, navigated the turn from the three path, began a bid in upper stretch and gained ground steadily between horses to the wire. FINISH THE MISSION bumped with the horse to his inside at the break, recovered to duel on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the turn and dug in gamely in the lane, giving way in late stretch. ROCK N ROLL BOLT bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, settled off the pace through the opening quarter, came around the bend in the two path and improved position in the lane. HONKY TONK HIGHWAY chased the leaders on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and kept on in the stretch. NORWICH tracked the pace setters between horses through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the two path and was outkicked in the lane. OY VEY bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the five path and showed no kick. LAST ATTACK bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, stalked the pace setter up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the four path and tired in the stretch. SUGAR HOOK raced in the middle of the pack between horses early, came around the bend in the three path and was empty from there. DO YOUR JOB raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and faded in the lane. HOT WINGS bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, raced off the pace between horses through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the three and four path and made no bid. KING OF THE PALACE bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was not a factor.
