Chart notes
SHOSHANAH was away alertly, showed good early speed to the pace along the inside, asked nearing the eighth pole and was tenacious to prove best. SHASTA STAR stalked the pace, made a steady advance through the far turn, raced three to four deep and finished gamely to the wire. CAN'T BUY LOVE raced off the early pace, was three deep around the far turn, angled out to race from the far outside and closed in too late. CHAMBEAU prompt two deep from the outside of rival, raced three wide into the upper stretch, shifted in through the drive and was outfinished. MISTY MAUVE rated along the inside, eased out upper lane and churned between. MAINLINE dropped back off the early going, raced three wide around the far turn, angled six wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. LA TRAVIESA tracked the early pair from the inside and faded. SWEET GRACIE raced at the back of the pack early, angled through the upper stretch and failed to respond. CUPID'S STRIKE dropped back, saved ground and was outrun.
