Chart notes
WILDCAT EXPRESS sprinted to the lead shortly after the start, set all the pace unchallenged and widened through the stretch under right handed urging to win as much the best. RECKLESS L J never far back, offered a mild bid four wide through the turn and finished clear for second. MANNFORD allowed to settle, improved position outside. GOLD N SILVER passed tiring rivals. EL MARRO chased the winner two wide and faded in the stretch. HENRY THE CAT failed to menace. ROSCO P. COLTRANE chased the winner from the inside through the turn then gave way. PRIVATE DRIVE had brief speed. TIGER TRAIL hit the gate, bore in at the start and was always outrun. TEQUILA FLATS showed little.
