Chart notes
VEGAS PLAYBOY raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the five path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the lane. HOLLYWOOD CLOSEUP raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and continued to improve position in the stretch. GHOSTSTRYDER was pinched back leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late from there. RAY'S GONE ASTRAY dueled between horses up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path coming around the turn and was caught in midstretch but kept on to the wire. ETRETAT hit the gate leaving it, raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and chased on to the finish. WYNN TRIP pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the three path around the turn and weakened in the lane. JAY'S DELIGHT bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, recovered to chase the leader on the rail up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and faded in the lane. CHOWMEIN dueled on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, continued to battle while saving ground around the turn and tired in the stretch. INSTIGATING trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the five path and passed tiring horses in the stretch while never truly threatening. SEAX raced at the back of the pack on the outside through the early going, continued around the turn in the four path and made no bid. SPUNKY BOY bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane. HEAVY WEIGHT tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and tired in the stretch.
