Chart notes
ELLE EST FORTE stalked the pace from the outside, took aim near the three sixteenths pole and edged up late under all out pressure. PAINT ME PERFECT unhurried early on, steady advance into the far turn, raced three deep in the upper lane, angled to rail near the sixteenth pole and finished gamely to the wire. SAKE (FR) mid pack early, raced three deep near the quarter pole, angled out and finished gamely to the wire. VARMLANDER quick to begin to set the early pace, raced two to three wide in the stretch run and gave way grudgingly. STORM BAY raced near the back of the pack early, saved ground and had not enough in the drive. CLEVER JOKE settled off the early pace, raced from the inside nearing the three eighths pole, in tight quarters near the five sixteenths pole, shifted out six wide and flattened out. HAY STACK pressed the pace two deep from the outside to duel near the half mile pole and faltered the final eighth of a mile. C C CRUISE CONTROL stalked the pace three deep from the outside faded in the drive. BEAUTIFULNAVIGATOR (IRE) raced four deep around the far turn and was empty.
