BOLD JOURNEY chased three then two wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled out eight wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive closing in through the final furlong to take command seventy yards from home, then inched away to the finish to prevail. DURANTE coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside coming under coaxing when under challenge at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat clinging to command and was caught in the final seventy yards to the finish. ROTKNEE coaxed from the start, chased along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung six wide into upper stretch, ran on to secure the show honors. COWAN chased just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, kept on under a drive but was outfinished in the late stages. WIN FOR GOLD prompted the leader from the outside five then four wide down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, got on near even terms swinging five wide into upper stretch, dug in prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages.
