Chart notes
TURNPIKE BOB was away alertly to vie for the early lead three wide, then set a pressured pace two wide on the turn, then had a long drive with KEEPING IT COUNTRY through the lane and prevailed gamely to prove best. KEEPING IT COUNTRY was bumped at the start, vied for the early lead on the inside, then pressed the winner on the turn, made a bid off the turn and dueled the final furlong but missed. TIZ SPEEDY broke in at the start, bumping a foe, reserved early, came five wide into the lane and closed well. LILTONYTWOPHONES chased the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid on the turn but flattened out. UNCLE DAR vied for the early lead in between rivals, steadied by the half mile marker, then chased the pace three wide but had no kick. SUNSHINE HARRY was settled early, came four wide into the lane and had no rally. Jockey OBJECTION the rider on number four TIZ SPEEDY against the number three KEEPING IT COUNTRY for alleged interference at the gate, the STEWARDS did not allow the OBJECTION and the race was left as is.
