Chart notes
PAULLIAC (IRE) stalked from inside, tipped out into the lane, bid outside the leader with a furlong remaining, took over midstretch, edged away from CASTLEKNOCK and held well over the runner-up. MARS ON FIRE broke a bit slow, tracked on the inside, saved ground through the turn, moved out a bit in the lane, rallied and gaining to the wire. EDDIE'S LAST settled in range, went to wide into the turn, angled four wide into the stretch, finished well from outside and gained third. CASTLEKNOCK closest in pursuit two wide into and around the bend, spun three wide into the stretch, put in a bid at the eighth pole but faltered in deep stretch. HABEAS had good early speed to take control from inside, set the pace through the turn, ridden along a bit off the rail into the stretch, challenged by outer rivals at the eighth pole, lost command midstretch and weakened. RAHM off a bit slow to begin, trailed along the rail then two wide on the turn and was not a factor.
