Chart notes

MARINA GRANDE stalked from the three path the first turn, closed to the lead approaching the three eighths pole and dueled clear at the quarter, raced at the rail on the far turn and held well under steady stretch handling. XANTHE stalked from the four path the first turn, challenged leaving the three eighths pole but dropped back at the quarter and had to settle for second best. JUMPIN JACK BRASS rated close inside on the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and finished evenly to take third mid-stretch. LONG LEGS LOUISE saved ground racing well off the pace, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, eased outward past the eighth pole and finished evenly. DIXIE YODELER raced well back from early contention, gave chase toward the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path and closed the gap in an even finish. POLISH THE DIAMOND took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was caught approaching the three eighths, raced at the rail on the far turn and weakened.
