ONE OF THESE DAYS (IRE) reserved three deep early then started to pull first time in the stretch, tucked inside towards the rear on the clubhouse turn, remained inside on the far turn, steered out in the lane, closed between rivals in deep stretch and got up at the wire. KHANTARO D'ORO settled along the rail, saved ground to the stretch, angled out to make a run, rallied and got brushed at the sixteenth pole, finished gamely five deep late, drifted in near the wire and missed. CAPTAIN CHOOCHIES vied four deep leaving the chute then stalked outside a pair of rivals, moved into the two path on the first turn, traveled between rivals in the middle stages, came under a ride on the far turn, asked three wide into the stretch, rallied and brushed with outer rival into the final sixteenth and missed between foes in a blanket finish. SURF AFFAIR showed early speed inside a outer trio leaving the chute, took a stalking position along the rail first time in the stretch, went two wide into the lane, bid between foes in upper stretch, took a narrow lead late but was outkicked in the closing moments. PLAYER B vied three deep leaving the chute then raced two wide while closest in pursuit, moved up to challenge from outside past the three-eighths pole and dueled around the far turn, carried a short lead into the stretch, moved clear at the eighth pole, soon challenged from both sides in the final sixteenth, yielded late and steadied at the wire. ASHCROFT pulled early and became rank between rivals, settled outside a rival or in the two path, spun three wide into the lane, angled out widest and kept on while needing more to threaten. STARFORCE broke a bit slow from inside, trailed along the rail to the stretch and offered a mild response to pass tired rivals. SEA OF CORTEZ (IRE) bumped with outer rival not too long after the start, lost his path and took hold briefly in the chute, went four deep into the stretch for the first time then became rank early, rounded the clubhouse turn three then two wide racing near the back, ridden along on the far turn and put to left handed urging but failed to menace in the lane. GHOST COAST raced five deep leaving the chute then chased four to three deep on the first turn, rounded the far turn three then four wide and also weakened. CARIBBEAN KING took a bump from inside shortly after the start, vied between leaving the chute then cleared and moved inside, set the pace to the far turn, dueled for command with outer rival around the bend, lost the lead entering the stretch and retreated.
