Chart notes
OCEAN OF STORMS vied for the lead from the inside to the first turn then settled off the pace around the final turn, moved out to three wide in upper stretch and drew clear late. GRAVES MILL ROAD settled off the pace down the backstretch then moved between horses entering the final turn to engage the lead, took a brief lead at the top of the stretch but was outfinished. MINNESOTA MIRACLE went to the front to a pressured lead through the final turn and was overtaken at the eighth pole but held on for the show. COUSVINNYSACANUCK was allowed to settle down the backstretch then moved between horses mid way through the final turn and tipped out to four wide in upper stretch to be best of the rest. RUNNING LATE went four wide into the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack while racing three wide down the backstretch, moved out to five wide into the stretch to improve his position. DEEP STATE raced in the middle of the pack from the two path then dropped back near the three furlong marker. DREWPOWER remained back. PALATIAL TIMES raced off the pace from three wide through the final turn then appeared to take a back step, fell and was vanned off. STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS POSTED INTO THE RUNNING NEAR THE EIGHTH POLE, AFTER A REVIEW NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
