Chart notes
FLY NIGHTLY saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path, launched a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late to hold the win. BIRD'S EYE VIEW raced in the two path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend, launched a bid in upper stretch and gained ground quickly to the wire, just missing. ARTEMUS BRIDGE raced in the two path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the inside, saved ground around the far turn, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. SANDY LANE KITTEN saved ground around the first bend, chased the leader up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and kept on to the finish. JUSTINTIMEFORWINE saved ground early, led the way up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the second bend and weakened in late stretch. BIG RED ROCKS stumbled mildly leaving the gate, recovered and raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn and never threatened. ULTIMATE IRONY raced in the three path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far bend from the two path and showed no kick. OCEANS MAP raced in the middle of the pack between horses around the first turn and up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path and made no bid. ERIC THE SALESMAN raced in the two path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path and faded from there. CHESS'S DREAM reared up leaving the gate, raced in the three path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, dropped further back while saving ground around the far bend and was not a factor. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE START. UPON REVIEW, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HORSE ELEVEN, CHESS'S DREAM, HAD A FAIR BEGINNING AND NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
