Chart notes
IN THE ARCH trailed the field early then circled the field on the turn for the late rally. DOUBLE BARREL MAN raced in the middle of the pack from three wide on the backstretch then made a four wide bid but couldn't catch the leader and was out kicked by outside closer. FIRE SWORD stalked the pace from three wide then took the lead at the quarter pole and fought gamely in the stretch. MISTER K was off the pace on the inside but fell back on the turn and passed tiring rival in the stretch. HIS GIANT showed good early speed but was overtaken at the quarter pole and weakened. GOLDEN PALACE raced in the middle of the pack on the inside then made a mild bid but was not a factor. GERARD was off the pace from between horses to the quarter pole and retreated. MY MAN LOUIE failed to menace. EZ GUESS was off slow and hopped leaving the gate remained back.
