Chart notes
ZULTAN prompted the pace to the end of the bend then engaged the leader at the eighth pole to take the late lead and fended of the late outside closer for the win. ITWASTHISBIG raced in the middle of the pack down the backstretch then made a three wide bid on the final turn, tipping out to four wide in upper stretch for the late run and missed. JOEY'S LIGHTENING was unhurried around the first turn then moved between horses near the three furlong maker, moved back to the inside and slipped through going into the stretch but was outfinished. BELLO CREEDO went to the front to a clear lead and set most of the pace, floated out going into the stretch and tired. THUNDER ROAD was allowed to settled down the backstretch then madea five wide bid on the final turn for the late rally. OXXON raced in the middle of the pack from four wide around the first turn but was never a factor. BELLA'S GATSBY saved ground from the middle of the pack to no avail. MESABI raced in the middle of the pack from two wide and was not a threat. MAJOR DEAL tracked the leaders from off the rail for three quarters and gave way.
