Chart notes
EXPRESS LINE set the pace outside SHARPAZANO early, failed to shake loose from that rival up the backstretch, dueled around the turn, maintained a short lead through the stretch and held gamely to the line. SHARPAZANO pressed the pace from inside, headed EXPRESS LINE on the turn, dueled into and down the lane and finished gamely in defeat. BOWTIE BOYS forwardly placed in the early going, rounded the bend three then four wide, finished willingly under right then left handed urging but lacked the needed late punch to get by the top pair. LAST CALL PAUL stalked wide up the backstretch, rounded the bend four to five wide and lacked a bid. AMBIGUOUS chased from off the pace along the rail into the turn, eased out and came three wide into the lane, moved further out in the drive and failed to menace. LETTHELIQUORTALK got bumped by outer rival at the start, chased near the inside into the turn, came under a ride around the bend and and weakened in the final furlong. RIGHT IN FRONT broke a step slow, lacked early speed, raced wide around the turn and was not a factor. VERITAS AEQUITAS broke in and bumped rival, traveled in mid-pack up the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, came five wide into the lane and weakened.
