Chart notes
MIDNIGHT ESCAPE stalked the pace, moved up three wide around the far turn, race six deep past the three sixteenths pole and finished well to edge up under strong handling. INTO THE SUNRISE stalked the pace from the outside, fanned wide into the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. FIELD DAY dropped back early, angled widest through the stretch run and rallied willingly to the wire. CHISELER angled in early, saved ground around the far turn through the stretch and finished willingly to the wire. UPHOLD THE LAW was allowed to settle early, on raced from the far outside in the stretch, raced in tight, altered out near the eighth pole, claimed objection against Into the Sunrise and stewards ruled no change. SWING SHIFT dueled two deep from the outside of rival and faltered in the latter stages. PLANE TALK dueled near the rail and faltered in the drive. CALL ME MIDNIGHT was off slowly, raced off the early going after the poor start, raced three wide into the upper stretch and had no late rally. CORTESE saved ground and never threatened. ROBO chased two deep and tired readily.
