Chart notes
CHUCK ADAMS vied for the lead to the outside early, made a bid to draw clear by the quarter pole and in the two path, then drew off in the drive while being shown the crop and was ridden out. FAST LEARNER vied for the lead on the inside, fell off the pace on the turn, angled out nearing the furlong marker and proved to be no match for the winner, second best. WATCH THE TRAMCAR was settled early, advanced on the inside on the turn, eased out and came three wide off the turn but flattened out, bested rest. IN THE AIR bumped at the start, tracked the pace in between rivals, came four wide off the turn and weakened. MR. NORMANDY was reserved early, five wide by the quarter pole and came wide into the lane and was not a threat. RUMORS TO BLAME stalked the early pace four wide, three wide on the turn and weakened. POLIE vied for the early lead in between rivals, steadied by the seven sixteenths and then stopped.
