THE METHOD rated along two deep, ridden near the three eighths pole, moved up four wide into the upper stretch to take aim and edged up late under strong pressure. SECRETARY AT WAR prompt the early leader two deep from the inside, had command near the quarter pole, dug in from the inside the eighth pole missed in a game effort. MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU showed good early foot along the inside and weakened in the drive. WICKED MAD dropped back off the early pace, raced from the inside near the three eighths pole, eased out through the stretch to race five deep near the three sixteenths pole and never threatened. DEVOTED KITTEN lag early on at the back of the pack, raced three wide around the far turn, eased out into the upper stretch to race from the far outside and never menaced.
