Chart notes
DIXIE CANNONBALL was away alertly, set a pressured early pace near the rail, dug in at the eighth pole and proved best in a determined run under strong handling. CHARGING LION stalked the pace, loomed up three wide near the quarter pole from the outside of rivals and couldn't get by late in a game effort. SPINNING MUSICIAN stalked the pace two deep, took aim four deep into the upper stretch and was outkicked to the wire. AGAINST THE ODDS raced off the early pace racing four deep from the outside of rivals, raced six wide into the upper lane and was even in the drive with no closing run. DROSSELMOON vied near the rail and weakened in the drive. LUCKYTOBEINAMERICA was off slowly and trailed.
