Chart notes
SAMBURU (GB) prompted the pace two wide, took the lead near the quarter pole, drifted out under left-handed urging in the lane and held firm. EYES ON TARGET was bumped after the start, rated back two wide, advanced three wide around the far turn, swung six wide near the quarter pole, closed outside, came in late and just missed. FIGHTER IN THE WIN bumped at the start, tracked the pace three wide, slowly gained between foes in the lane then was forced to check in the final stride. LIGHTS OF BROADWAY was bumped after the start, saved ground off the pace, angled out turning for home and rallied between foes. RED FLAG ALERT set the pace along the rail and weakened in the final furlong. CAPTAIN ANTHONY failed to menace while racing two wide. GENTLEMAN GERRY stalked the pace from the rail and faded in the lane. THE DOORMAN was bumped at the start, raced three wide and never threatened.
