Chart notes
TWENTY FOUR MAMBA angled in early, followed the clear leader from the outside, was asked in the three path on the turn, gained four wide into the stretch, took the advantage inside the three-sixteenths, responded well in the final furlong and just held under strong urging. AWESOME NATIVE was urged along at the rear, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, came six wide into the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed fast to just miss. TRAFALGAR was urged along on the outside, went two to three wide on the turn, was driven four wide into the stretch, moved in inside the furlong marker and finished well to get the show. LEGENDS CAN'T DIE angled in while going to the front then went clear, extended the advantage near the nine-sixteenths then drew off, rounded the turn in the two path, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch and tired. MR BOB was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, went three wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. CHEWING GUM was urged along near the back, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, was driven between horses into upper stretch and failed to rally. MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT was hustled from the gate, raced just off the early pace then dropped back, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. VICTORIOUS WAVE was taken in hand when foes crossed in front near the three-quarter pole, settled off the pace, was urged between rivals in the two path on the turn and failed to respond.
