Chart notes
SHEWEARSSTILETTOS gave chase through the backstretch and raced close in the three path on the turn, took the lead past the eighth pole, ran clear mid-stretch and drew off later yards. VERY VENUS chased inside, rounded the turn at the rail, eased out into the lane and dug in to clear second the final yards. OUR GREAT NOTION chased through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn then flattened later yards. MACHEN MARGARITAS set a pressured pace leaving the half mile pole, contested the edge at the rail on the turn but was met passing the eighth pole and weakened the final sixteenth. S S COSMOPOLITAN gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the five path and showed little in the lane. TUESDAY TOO gave chase, rounded the turn at the rail and weakened in the lane.
