Chart notes
SOGNO DI CAMPIONE (CHI) pressed the pace three wide, took the lead near the three-eighths pole, drifted out in the stretch and dug in when the runner-up reached even terms leaving the eighth pole and was edged back ahead late. GAME BOY BENNY stalked the pace four wide, bid outside of the winner and was turned back late. SENSEI LAWRENCE vied inside early, chased inside around the turn and held well enough to preserve the show. FIVEFIVE SIX CHAMP vied in the two path for a half and faded. DIAMOND COOL chased the pace two wide and lacked a closing bid. DOUBLE PLAY KING failed to menace while racing four wide. RAGTIME BLUES played no factor while racing five wide. CAJUN HOPE had only brief speed inside.
