Chart notes
HERE'S WALDO set the early pace while clear, then was headed nearing the furlong marker, but turned back that bid and drew clear lo prove best, driving. BIG BEAUTIFUL WALL was rated early, between rivals at the three eighths marker, made a two wide advance on the turn, made a bid off the turn but hung in the final furlong. CURLINGTON was four wide into the first turn, settled on the outside, made a four wide move on the far turn and then was slowly gaining late but needed more. PATTY'S BOY was taken back early and dropped towards the inside, advanced on the far turn and was five wide by the quarter pole, but had no late kick while getting the last spot in the superfecta. CAERUS tracked the pace four wide and weakened. PURPLE SHIRT was reserved early on the inside and failed to menace. WAHOOWA WAHOOWA stalked the pace three wide and tired. SANTO chased the pace on the inside and tired. TINY TIN was not a factor.
